VfL Sindelfingen 1862, which is the largest sports club in the district and the third largest in the Stuttgart region with just under 9,000 members, reopened its Sports World this year. In October it became the first fitness studio in Baden-Württemberg to be awarded the SPORT PRO FITNESS quality symbol.

Just under 15 kilometres away from Sindelfingen is Schaichhof in Holzgerlingen where golfers will find an 18-hole course of the Schönbuch Golf Club, a 9-hole public course and a driving range with 60 tees, 9 of which are covered.
